So I’ve been wanting a PC for a while. I work on them um, at work and I have to say they are sooo much easier to navigate than a Mac. Importing pictures is so streamlined (hello cut and paste) and Microsoft Office actually works. And when my FIL said he was going to send us a surplus computer screen, I’ll admit my interest was piqued.
It pretty much arrived in a fridge box. Brett rejected it immediately, clearly too big. Yay, perfect screen for photo editing because lightroom on my tiny MacBook gets so frustrating. Long story short, found a good enough desktop on clearance and now I have my workstation. It's so pretty!
And hopefully in the sometime near future I can actually start blogging about riding. I'm trying out two different barns in the next week, and a third one eventually. Really hoping to find the dream combo of [somewhat] reasonable pricing, within 20 minutes driving distance, welcoming atmosphere with quality trainer and horses. But at this point, it might be too much to ask. Brett's coming with me on my second lesson at each barn, so he might be the deciding factor.
